Managing a golden image factory across all major cloud platforms

The cloud engineering team at Experian manages governance and standards across five cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud. In this presentation, Natalia Marin shows how they built a hybrid solution to build golden images across clouds using HCP Packer. The process includes post-build configuration with Ansible, embedding security, monitoring, and logging agents based on cloud metadata at instance launch, with images tested, updated, and published monthly.
